Sanitizing your Stash

You know what Saturday afternoons are made for? Cleaning makeup. DUH..!!!  now i know i posted an earlier update using ACV for  Brush Cleaning but in this post, we're gonna sanitize everything. So, lets get to it..
Cleaning Brushes.

You're gonna need the following
-Rubbing Alcohol
-Baby Shampoo
-Bowl
-Spray bottle

Step One - Soak brushes in rubbing alcohol for 1 minute
Step Two - Soak sanitized brushes in baby shampoo and gently wash
Step Three - Gently blow-dry brushes.

Makeup brushes should be cleaned and sanitized once every  4-6 weeks depending on their use.

Eyeshadow Palettes

To Sanitize your makeup palettes, Simply pour some rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and gently spray over eye shadow. It's completely safe and in my experience, does not affect the quality of the shadows. before doing this, be sure to gently skim the tip of the shadow with a soft tissue or cotton.
Lipsticks

Our lips carry so much bacteria. It's important to sanitize your lipsticks each time you wear it. Especially if your mom and sister also use them.
The best way is to get a shot glass and place some alcohol in it (vodka works best) or some rubbing alcohol. Dip exposed lipstick into alco for 30 seconds and wipe off with cotton.                                          It's really important to sanitize your makeup often. That way you can prolong your products and get the most out of it. I would love to know how you guys sanitize your products. feel free to let me know.
Hope you enjoyed.
XOXO
Khalisha
